Feb 19, 2013

On Feb 22nd 2013 the Whitehouse (yes the president of the USA's official residence in Washington DC) are opening their doors to a handful of developers for the White House Open Data Day Hackathon!

In the past weeks leading upto the event the whitehouse have been giving participants access to We the People's Read API methods so they can use them, ask questions, provide feedback, and build cool stuff. For the hackathon, participants will come to the White House to share their work, talk with the API developers, and submit examples to be included in a software development kit (SDK).

Unfortunately Maxweb were not selected to attend – there is always next year!
