A recent study has shown that the things you ‘like’ on Facebook can accurately predict your personal details and information. Things such as race, sexuality, political preferences and even personality traits.
Researchers have studied over 55,000 volunteers who have participated in the “myPersonality” Facebook app. The app gains access to the users list of ‘likes’ and along with an online personality test the researchers used the data to see if it is possible to predict traits about users’ social, work and personal lives.
