Project Overview

Vertix Systems is a UK-based manufacturer of standing seam metal roof and wall cladding systems. They approached us in November 2023 to develop a new website that would better represent their products, services and technical expertise.

Their existing site lacked clarity, depth and user engagement. We proposed and delivered a complete website design and build, followed by content population, technical SEO setup, and ongoing monthly SEO services.

Our Web Design, Development, and SEO teams successfully delivered a responsive and modern website featuring a bespoke enquiry system and a structured technical document repository. We also implemented a strong technical SEO foundation and continue to support Vertix Systems with a long-term SEO strategy focused on sustained visibility and growth.

The Challenge

Vertix Systems faced multiple challenges with their outdated and underdeveloped website, which failed to effectively showcase their product range, technical expertise and brand identity. The user journey was lacking, and the site lacked the essential tools such as an online price enquiry form and downloadable technical documentation. Enquiries had to be submitted manually via a downloadable Word document, which made capturing leads an inefficient and time-consuming process. Vertix needed a solution that would scale with their business, be easy to manage in-house, and provide a foundation to support long-term SEO growth.

The Solution

We began the project with a detailed, research-driven discovery phase, delivering a detailed proposal that included early design mockups aligned with Vertix’s vision. In collaboration with their marketing consultant, we produced wireframes and final designs for key page templates, including the Homepage, Product Section, Case Study Section, Downloads Page, Blog Section, and an online Price Enquiry Form.

The website was built on WordPress using our custom-made Toybox theme, which incorporates Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) blocks. This enables the creation of reusable content blocks for easy client editing and modifications. A four-step price enquiry form with product visualisations was integrated via Gravity Forms, along with a secure login feature for technical document downloads. The site was populated with optimised content and launched in September 2024, following a thorough SEO audit, a structured migration plan, and rigorous quality assurance testing to ensure a smooth transition.

Ongoing SEO services launched in December 2024, focusing on onsite optimisations, creation of new landing pages, link building and improvements to the site’s user experience. The team also developed targeted content, such as a new colour page section to support product visibility and search relevance.

The Results

Following the Website Launch and SEO Implementation, Vertix saw a 106% increase in organic search traffic from Jan 1 – Jul 1, 2025 (vs. the same period prior). In June 2025, we marked a record number of online enquiries, due to the new interactive form that replaced the outdated manual process. The improved user experience and digital lead capture received positive feedback from the client, particularly around the design, usability and responsiveness.

In recognition of the project’s success, Vertix signed a 6-month extension to their SEO contract in July 2025. Overall, the project has helped position Vertix Systems as a fast-growing manufacturer within their niche.
